Johnson County Ambulance Service
(JCAS) provides paramedic-level EMS to the majority of Johnson
County and portions of Cedar County located in Eastern Iowa.
The service is responsible for all emergency calls in the area,
covering a population over 100,000 persons. The types of calls
can dramatically vary, so JCAS Paramedics are trained to function
under an assortment of circumstances. JCAS Paramedics are able
to maintain proficient emergency care by providing care to nearly
4,000 patients each year.
