Printing Instructions

Method 1

Step 1: Go here and navigate to the location you would like to print a map of. For help in using this search tool, please see this.

Step 2: Make sure that you disable any pop-up blocking software that you may have installed.

Step 3: Click the printer icon on the toolbar at the top of the page, as shown below.

A small pop-up window will appear, as displayed here.

Select the size of paper you would like to use and click the "Create Print Page" button.

At this point a new window will open, similar to the one below.

Step 4: Go to File and scroll down to Print. Choose the printer you want to send it to and print map.

Method 2 (For Best Results)

Step 1: Go here and navigate to the location you would like to print a map of.
For help in using this search tool, please see this.

Step 2: Press and hold the "Alt" key on your keyboard and press the "Print Screen" key.
This will copy a snapshot of your current desktop to the clipboard on your computer.

Step 3: At this point, you will probably want to crop the image you just created, so that you will only see the map and not the rest of your screen.
To do this, simply open Paint (go to Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Paint) and paste your image from the clipboard (Edit ' Paste or Ctrl+V).
You should now see the picture of your desktop you created.

Step 4: Now use the Select tool (which should, by default, be active) and drag a box around the part of the picture you would like to keep (most likely the map part).
You should now see a dashed rectangle around your selection (see below).

Now, either press Ctrl+C or go up to Edit --> Cut. Go to File --> New and press Ctrl+V or Edit --> Paste

Step 5: You can now save your new, cropped image (see below) in whatever format you would like (.jpg, .gif, etc) and/or print it.
