2000 Jail Proposal: Meetings and Documents
On November 7, 2000, Johnson County voters defeated the following proposal:
Shall the County of Johnson, State of Iowa, be
authorized to construct, equip and furnish a County Law Enforcement Center, at
a total cost not exceeding Twenty Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($20,300,000) and issue its general obligation bonds in an amount not
exceeding Nineteen Million Dollars ($19,000,000) for that purpose?
