MINUTES OF THE INFORMAL MEETING OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:

MAY 5, 2004

Chairperson Neuzil called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Courthouse at 1:04 p.m.  Members present were: Pat Harney, Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, and Carol Thompson; absent: Sally Stutsman.

COUNTY ATTORNEY, J. PATRICK WHITE SITE VISIT AND DISCUSSION

The Board met with County Attorney J. Patrick White at the County Attorney’s Office for a site visit.  Issues discussed were Courthouse Security, Jail overcrowding, the County Attorney’s Office caseload, the need for new prosecutor software, staffing issues, the Sensitive Areas Ordinance, the proposal for additional housing at Chatham Oaks, and the Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Audit.
