GIS Technical Committee Meeting Minutes

§        Attendees: Carol Thompson, Jean Schultz, Harry Graves, Todd Kruse, Dan Swartzendruber, Rick Havel, Bill Greazel, Ralph Wilmoth, Pat Harney, Mark Kistler, Tom Slockett, John McKiness, Sally Stutzman, Tom Kriz, Rick Dvorak, Andy Chappell, Denny Baldridge, Tom Brase, Lori Phillips, and Steve Spenler

§        Called to order by Dan Swartzendruber at 2:04 PM.

§        Todd Kruse appointed minute taker.

§        Parcel maintenance plan/Memo was distributed (See Memo).

§        Dan Schwartzendruber did an overview of agenda items.

§        Sally Stutzman and Carol Thompson provided overview of parcel maintenance plan/Memo.

-         Floor was open to discussion or questions concerning plan.

-         Bill Greazel, Tom Kriz, and Ralph Wilmoth showed support of plan.

-         Tom Slockett supports additional resources be put towards GIS, but that it should be placed into the Auditor’s office.  He further questioned the legality of having the GIS and Mapping function moved outside of the Auditor’s office.  Tom felt that with additional resources, the Auditor’s office would be able to make up the lag in GIS maintenance and would be able to maintain the GIS database thereafter. 

-         At 3:05 PM, Rick Dvorak motioned to send recommendation outlined in memo to the board; majority of those present voted in  support of the motion; no objections were made.

§        No other GIS business was presented.

§        At 3:08, Bill Greazel Motioned to adjoin.
