MINUTES OF THE INFORMAL MEETING OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:

TABLE OF CONTENTS
Chairperson Stutsman called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 11:40 a.m. Members present were: Pat Harney, Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Rod Sullivan.
DISCUSSION: FISCAL YEAR 2006 COUNTY BUDGET PRESENTATION
The Board agreed that during the Fiscal Year 2006 County Budget presentation Budget Coordinator Jeff Horne will summarize Johnson County’s mission statement, and the County’s strategic goals and objectives. Horne will give a rundown of the budget process and summarize the budget. Harney will discuss the Public Safety service area budget. R. Sullivan will summarize the Health and Human Services budget. Lehman agreed to review the Education and Environment service area budget. Stutsman said that she will cover the County Administration service area budget. Neuzil will summarize the Secondary Roads and Government Services to Residents service areas. Stutsman will discuss Capital Projects. Last Horne will review sources of revenues and present a breakdown of the impact of the Fiscal Year 2006 budget on taxpayers.
DISCUSSION: COUNTY BUDGET PROCESS
The Board agreed that when working on the Fiscal Year 2007 budget they will have department heads present during budget work sessions to answer questions.
