MINUTES OF THE FORMAL MEETING OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:

JUNE 30, 2008

 

      Chairperson Sullivan called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 9:02 a.m.  Members present were: Pat Harney, Larry Meyers, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Rod Sullivan.

 

      Unless otherwise noted, all actions were taken unanimously.

 

      Motion by Stutsman, second by Meyers, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the collective bargaining agreement for July 1, 2008-June 30, 2010 with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 183 regarding the Ambulance Unit.

 

      Motion by Meyers, second by Stutsman, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the collective bargaining agreement for July 1, 2008-June 30, 2010 with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 183 regarding the SEATS Unit.

 

      Motion by Harney, second by Neuzil, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the collective bargaining agreement for July 1, 2008-June 30, 2010 with the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 183 regarding the Social Services Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Unit. 

 

      Motion by Stutsman, second by Meyers, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the Wellmark Administrative Services Agreement for FY09.

 

      Motion by Harney, second by Stutsman, to adjust the FY08 contract with the Community Mental Health Center to a population base of 125,692, and to take no action on the FY07 Community Mental Health Center contract.
