        a)    First and Second consideration of the following Zoning application:

                 1.    Rezoning Application 16057 of Clarence Serbousek requesting rezoning of 7.37 acres from A-Agricultural to R5-Residential of certain property described as Lot 3 Serbouseks First Addition, being in the NE ¼ of the NE ¼ of Section 10, Township 81 North, Range 7 West of the 5^th P.M. in Johnson County, Iowa. This property is located on the south side of 120^th Street NE, approximately 2000 feet east of its intersection with Club Road in Jefferson Township.

a)    Motion to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) in the amount of $1,413,308 for property acquisition and demolition of flooded properties.

b)    Motion to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the sub-recipient agreement with East Central Iowa Council of Governments for administrative services for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Flood Recovery Assistance Program.

        c)    Discussion/action re:   approval of amendments to update the Board of Health Water Well Regulations.  

d)    Discussion/action re: approval of a Resolution Supporting the Application to the Region 10 Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA) for Regional Transportation Enhancement Funds for Mehaffey Bridge Separated Trail from North Liberty to the Intersection of Sugar Bottom Road.  

e)    Discussion/action re:  approval and authorize the Chairperson to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iowa of Department of Public Health for $10,000 to provide Substance Abuse Prevention Services.

g)    Discussion/action re: approval of the Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Several Properties on Driftwood Lane, Iowa City, Iowa, Pursuant to the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division Hazard Mitigation Grant Voluntary Property Acquisition Program.

       h)    Motion to approve the Johnson County Medical Society’s request to re-appoint Dr. Stephen Scheckel to a two-year term as the Johnson County Medical Examiner in accordance with Iowa Administrative Code Section 641-127.8(1).

        i)     Motion to approve the Johnson County Medical Examiners request to re-appoint Agustin Aguilar, Jr., M.D. and Jonathan Simmons, D.O., as Deputy Medical Examiners pursuant to Iowa Administrative Code Section 641-127.8(1).

        j)     Discussion/action re:   appointments to various boards and commissions for the Johnson County Board of Supervisors.

          k)      Motion authorizing Chairperson to send Kenny O’Donnell a letter of appreciation and certificate for serving on the Johnson County Compensation Commission.
