        1.    Subdivision Application 16105 of Martin and Mary Gaffey requesting preliminary and final plat approval of Fairview Fields Subdivision, a subdivision described as being located in the W ˝ of Section 34, Township 80 North, Range 5 West of the 5th P.M. in Johnson County, Iowa.  This is a 1 Lot, 5.00 acre farmstead split located on the north side of Fairview Cemetery Road NE approximately 1500 feet east of its intersection with Wapsi Avenue NE in Graham Township.

          a)    Motion authorizing the Chairperson to sign a contract with the State Department of Human Services with Decat funding in the amount of $14,950 to support the Transitioning Youth Initiative and efforts of the Community Partnership to Protect Children Program. 

 

          b)    Discussion/action re:   amending current Decat Contract # DCAT 7-09-142 to add $4,950 to assist “Club Kazi:  Black Americans Concerned About Black Children in Foster Care in Iowa” in their efforts to assist the Iowa Department of Human Services to respond to disproportionality in the child welfare system. 

 

          c)    Motion authorizing the Chairperson to sign the Iowa Department of Human Services Community Mental Health Center Affiliation for FY11.

i)     Discussion/action re:  Resolution to set a date for public hearings on general obligation loan agreements in a principal amount not to exceed $2,300,000 for reconstructing a portion of 120th Street in and adjacent to the City of Shueyville, in a principal amount not to exceed $800,000 for the purpose of acquiring land suitable for the site of a new county jail, and in a principal amount not to exceed $700,000 for the purpose of constructing a new county ambulance facility.
