7. 9:00 a.m. - Joint Public Hearing before the Johnson County Board of Supervisors and Cedar County Board of Supervisors regarding vacation of portion of the Level “B” Section of Roadway, Johnson-Cedar County Line Road, located in Section 13, Township 81 North, Range 5 West in Cedar Township Road more particularly described as:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter of said Section 13;
thence North along the East line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 13 a distance of 80 feet to a point of intersection with the centerline of said Johnson-Cedar County Line Road and the Point of Beginning of the herein described centerline;
thence continuing Westerly and Northerly coincident with the centerline of said Johnson-Cedar County Line Road a distance of 1200 feet more or less to a point of intersection with the Southerly right of way line of 145th Street and the end of the herein described centerline.
The Johnson-Cedar County Line Road is 66 feet in width. The sidelines of said Road are to be extended or shortened to terminate at the South right-of-way line of said 145th Street and at the East line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 13.

a) Discussion/action re: 28E Agreement between Johnson County and City of Hills for Construction Costs for Oakcrest Hill Road SE.
b) Discussion/action re: entering into a new Decategorization contract with the Iowa Department of Human Services in the amount of $52,000 to support the Focus on Youth Fund.

c) Discussion/action re: creating a non-bargaining part-time Social Services Program Assistant, which will be 100% funded by State Decategorization funds, to administer the Focus on Youth Fund.
d) Discussion/action re: amending current Decategorization contract DCAT 7-09-029 to add $9,000 to support Decategorization Coordination provided by Johnson County Social Services, for a total contract value of $17,000.
e) Discussion/action re: approving a Resolution renaming Highway 6 Bridge over the Iowa River the General John Corse Memorial Bridge.
f) Motion authorizing the Chairperson to sign a letter of support to the North Liberty Community Library for grant application to Iowa Network Services Charity Grant Program for two barcode scanners and one computer.
g) Discussion/action re: approving I-JOBS grant application for razing of National Guard Armory building, installation of parking lot and green space.
