Chairperson Stutsman called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 10:40 a.m. Members present were: Charles Duffy, Jonathan Jordahl, Mike Lehman, Sally Stutsman, and Carol Thompson. Also present was Recording Secretary Casie Parkins.

Motion by Duffy, second by Lehman, to enter Executive Session at 10:40 a.m. to discuss the annual evaluation of Human Resource Administrator Lora Shramek, under section 21.5(1.i), Code of Iowa, "to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session." Roll call: aye: Lehman, Jordahl, Stutsman, Thompson, Duffy.

Duffy left at 11:20 a.m. and returned at 11:35 a.m.

Motion by Duffy, second by Thompson, to leave Executive Session at 11:50 a.m. Roll call: aye: Lehman, Jordahl, Stutsman, Thompson, Duffy.

Recessed at 11:50 a.m.; reconvened at 2:30 p.m. with Duffy absent.

Motion by Lehman, second by Thompson, to enter Executive Session at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the annual evaluation of Senior Dining Director Mike Foster, under section 21.5(1.i), Code of Iowa, "to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance or discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent needless and irreparable injury to that individual’s reputation and that individual requests a closed session." Roll call: aye: Lehman, Jordahl, Stutsman, Thompson; absent: Duffy.

Duffy entered at 2:35 p.m. and left at 3:40 p.m.

Motion by Thompson, second by Lehman, to leave Executive Session at 4:00 p.m. Roll call: aye: Lehman, Jordahl, Stutsman, Thompson; absent: Duffy.

Recessed at 4:00 p.m.; reconvened on January 13, 2000 at 4:15 p.m. with Duffy present.
