Chairperson Stutsman called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 9:03 a.m. Members present were: Pat Harney, Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Carol Thompson.

Unless otherwise noted, all actions were taken unanimously.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Neuzil, to elect Mike Lehman as Chairperson and Carol Thompson as Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to set the weekly Board of Supervisors formal meeting at 9:00 a.m. followed by the informal meeting, except for the second Thursday of the month, the formal meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. followed by the informal meeting.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the Senior Dining FY 2002 Nutrition Request for Proposals to Heritage Area Agency on Aging.

Motion by Thompson, second by Stutsman, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to sign the SEATS FY 2002 Nutrition Request for Proposals to the Heritage Area Agency on Aging.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Neuzil, to appoint Pat Harney to the Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services Board of Directors.

Motion by Thompson, second by Harney, to designate the Iowa City Press-Citizen, Lone Tree Reporter North Liberty Leader and Solon Economist as official newspapers of Johnson County.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to appoint Mike Lehman to the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce.
