Chairperson Thompson called to order the Johnson County Board of Supervisors at 9:05 a.m. to act as a canvass board to certify the results of the Special Clear Creek Amana School Bond Election of May 7, 2002. Members present were: Pat Harney, Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Carol Thompson.

Upon the public measure (B)

Shall the Board of Directors of the Clear Creek Amana Community School District in the Counties of Johnson and Iowa, State of Iowa, be authorized to contract indebtedness and issue General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $1,000,000 to provide funds in order to qualify for an additional $1,000,000 from a Vision Iowa Grant and to purchase and improve a site and build and furnish a learning center?

there were nine hundred eight (908) votes cast, as follows:

FOR the question, there were six hundred forty-three (643) votes cast.

AGAINST the question, there were two hundred sixty-five (265) votes cast.

We therefore declare the public measure (B)
