MINUTES OF THE CANVASS OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:
JULY 16, 2002
Chairperson Thompson called to order the Johnson County Board of Supervisors at 9:00 a.m. to act as a canvass board to certify the results of the Coralville Special Election of July 9, 2002. Members present were: Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Carol Thompson; absent: Pat Harney.
ABSTRACT OF VOTES
Upon the public measure (C)
Shall the City of Coralville, Iowa issue its bonds in an amount not exceeding the amount of $2,000,000 for the purpose of paying costs of construction of a new outdoor swimming pool in ST Morrison Park, including those costs associated with the demolition and removal of the existing swimming pool in said park?
there were one thousand one hundred ten (1,110) votes cast as follows:
FOR the question, there were one thousand fifty-nine (1,059) votes cast.
AGAINST the question, there were fifty-one (51) votes cast.
We therefore declare the public measure (C)

Motion by Stutsman, second by Lehman, to approve the results of the Coralville Special Election of July 9, 2002. Roll call: aye: Neuzil, Stutsman, Thompson, Lehman; absent: Harney.
