MINUTES OF THE FORMAL MEETING OF THE JOHNSON COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS:
FEBRUARY 6, 2003
Chairperson Harney called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 9:00 a.m. Members present were: Pat Harney, Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, Sally Stutsman, and Carol Thompson.
Unless otherwise noted, all actions were taken unanimously.
Motion by Lehman, second by Thompson, to approve the claims on the Auditor’s Claim Register, as approved by a majority of the Supervisors.
Motion by Stutsman, second by Neuzil, to approve the minutes of the formal meeting of January 30, 2003.
Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to approve the payroll authorizations submitted by department heads, as approved by a majority of the Supervisors.
Motion by Stutsman, second by Lehman, to set a public hearing on the Strategic Plan Section of the Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities Services Management Plan on February 27, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. and authorize the auditor to publish.
Motion by Thompson, second by Stutsman, to approve and authorize the Auditor to publish a Notice to Bidders setting a bid letting date of March 4, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. for the 2003 Johnson County Dust Control Safety Program (calcium chloride application to portions of rock surfaced roads).
Motion by Lehman, second by Thompson, to approve and authorize the Auditor to publish a Notice to Bidders setting a bid letting date of March 4, 2003 at 10:15 a.m. for seed and fertilizer for the Secondary Road Department’s use in calendar year 2003.
Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to approve and authorize the Chairperson to send Jerry Musser a letter of appreciation and certificate for serving on the Johnson County Housing Task Force.
