Vice-Chairperson Neuzil called to order the Johnson County Board of Supervisors at 1:00 p.m. to act as a canvass board to certify the results of the Special House District 30 Election of August 26, 2003. Members present were: Mike Lehman, Terrence Neuzil, and Sally Stutsman.

Carol Thompson entered at 1:03 p.m.

FOR THE OFFICE OF STATE REPRESENTATIVE (30th Dist.) there were a total of two thousand eight hundred twenty-four (2,824) votes cast of which:

Dave Jacoby, Democratic, received two thousand one (2,001) votes, Jack Young, Republican, received eight hundred twenty (820) votes, and Scattering received four (4) votes.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Thompson, to approve the results of the Special House District 30 Election of August 26, 2003. Roll call: aye: Neuzil, Stutsman, Lehman, Thompson; absent: Harney.
