Chairperson Jordahl called the Johnson County Board of Supervisors to order in the Johnson County Administration Building at 9:05 a.m. Members present were: Charles Duffy, Jonathan Jordahl, and Sally Stutsman; absent: Mike Lehman.

Unless otherwise noted, all actions were taken with the following vote: aye: Stutsman, Jordahl, Duffy; absent: Lehman.

Motion by Duffy, second by Stutsman, to approve the claims on the Auditor's Claim Register, as approved by a majority of the Supervisors.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Duffy, to approve the minutes of the formal meeting of January 14, 1999.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Duffy, to approve the payroll authorizations submitted by department heads, as approved by a majority of the Supervisors.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Duffy, to place on file the Clerk's Report of Fees Collected for the month of December, 1998, in the amount of $3,304. 45, as submitted by Interim Clerk of District Court Wanda Sedivec.

Whereas, the owner has filed application S9777 for approval of a preliminary and final plat of Brannaman's Last, and

Whereas, the Johnson County Board of Supervisors approved the plat and Subdivider's Agreement by Resolution 01-08-98-Z2,

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of Supervisors of Johnson County, Iowa:

1. That said plat be reapproved.

2. This Resolution requires the recording of the following documents: Owner Certificate, Title Opinion, Treasurer's Certificate, Dust Alleviation Agreement, Soil Erosion & Sediment Control Plan, Resolution Affirming the Stability of the Current Road System, and Subdivider's Agreement & Fence Agreement.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Duffy, to approve Resolution 01-21-99-Z1.

Motion by Stutsman, second by Duffy, declaring surplus property that is no longer of use to the County as submitted by the Department of Human Services and authorize the transfer of the property to Goodwill Industries of Southeast Iowa.
