For the purpose of purchasing instructional
equipment, the Board of Trustees of Kirkwood Community College (Merged Area X)
is authorized to continue to levy a tax on taxable property within the Merged
Area for each of the ten consecutive years commencing with the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2005, which tax shall not exceed six (6) cents per thousand
dollars of assessed valuation in any one year, pursuant to Section 260C.28,
Code of Iowa, 2003.
