June 3, 2008 Primary Election Sample Ballots and Polling Places Polls open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Two permanent polling place changes and one temporary change. All sample ballots in .pdf format.
Eight Johnson County polling places have moved since the 2004 presidential election. Two of those moves are new for the June 3 primary election. Most of these moves were required under accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Help America Vote Act (HAVA). In addition, there is one temporary change, in Jefferson East/Swisher (JE/SW). The permanent polling place, the Shueyville Community Center, is under construction. For the June 3 election only, voting will be at the Shueyville United Methodist Church, which is across the street from the Community Center. Permanent changes since 2004 Presidential Election
