2011 Johnson County Fair Mock Election

The Auditor’s Office hosted its annual mock election as part of the Johnson County Government exhibit in Exhibition Hall B at the Johnson County Fair July 25-28.

All persons attending the fair, including children and guests from outside Johnson County, were able to see and use real voting booths and machines to participate in the mock election. Participants were asked to vote only once. Results were posted daily.

This year voters could make choices in ten mock election contests: the presidential caucuses and nine issues. (sample ballot)
