The Environmental Education Program is in need of a few supplies as curriculum is increased and displays are added to the Conservation Education Center. As you clean out your garage and basement, please keep us in mind if you have any of the following items:

  • Aquariums - (more than 20 gallons) 55+ gallon aquariums and supplies are needed most.
  • Books - Nature and environmental books of all kinds, including literature and field guides, are needed for our library.
  • Outdoor Equipment - As outdoor education programs are expanded to include overnight camping experiences, the need for tents, stoves, lanterns, canoes, Dutch ovens, etc., has developed
  • Clip Boards
  • Animal Mounts and Skins
  • Teaching Aids: models, posters, etc.
  • Binoculars
  • Cameras
If you would like to make an equipment donation, please contact the JCCB naturalist at 319-645-2315.
