Conservation Banner


The Johnson County Conservation Department manages natural resources and outdoor recreation areas throughout the county. Several native prairies, river access areas, small community parks, and the 1,052 acre F.W. Kent Park provide a variety of services in natural resources recreation, and conservation.

The Board's Operation Center is located at F.W. Kent Park. A specialized staff provide you with quality outdoor recreation and environmental education.
