The Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC) is a private, nonprofit corporation. ISAC members are elected and appointed county officials from all 99 counties. ISAC's mission is to promote effective and responsible county government for the people of Iowa. ISAC's vision is to be the principal, authoritative source of representation, information and services for and about county government in Iowa.

Johnson County paid $6,050 for Membership Dues to ISAC for fiscal year 2017.

Johnson County in cooperation with Linn County, Blackhawk County and Scott County have retained the services of L & L Murphy Consulting, Associates & Grant Consulting, L.L.C. to represent the counties’ interests before the Iowa General Assembly, executive branch and other relevant agencies, departments and organizations.

Johnson County has agreed to pay $20,000 for fiscal year 2017.
