Economic Development And Quality Of Life Block Grants

Each year, the Board Supervisors allocates funds to support economic development and enhance the quality of life of Johnson County residents.  These funds support the work of a variety of area entities including the Johnson County Agricultural Association (to support the Johnson County Fair), the Johnson County Historical Society, the Iowa City Area Development Group and others.

Block grants are approved as part of the annual budgeting process.  Click HERE to view and download the instructions and application for funds. Applications for FY 2014 (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014) are due November 12, 2012.
