Building Services

Building Inspections have been in effect since December 1, 2000, and are conducted by the Johnson County Building Inspection Division. Inspections are based on the 2015 International Building Code, 2015 International Residential Code, Iowa State Mechanical Code (2015 IMC), Iowa State Plumbing Code (2015 UPC), Iowa State Electrical Code (2014 NEC) and the Iowa State Energy Code (2012 IECC).
