For families caring for cancer patients at home, access to durable medical

Women in active cancer treatment learn techniques to restore their self-image
and cope with appearance-related side effects. Certified beauty professionals
provide tips on makeup, skin care, nail care and head coverings. One-on-one and
group sessions are offered. Group sessions are held on the third Tuesday of each
month at the UIHC. The program is offered through a partnership with the Cosmetic,
Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation and The National Cosmetology

Trained volunteer breast cancer survivors provide one-on-one support and

from 8 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week and services are provided in many
