Thank you for your interest in the Johnson County Community Partnership. Our local site is a member of a state-wide initiative of the Department of Human Services. The State of Iowa and Johnson County provide critical financial support to implement the 4 strategies to engage the community in the protection of children.

The Johnson County Community Partnership is pleased to make funds available to support Mini Grants in support of our mission. Click HERE to download the Mini Grant proposal form. This form will be reviewed by the Shared Decision Making Team within 30 days of your submission and you will be contacted via phone or letter by Dave Moran, Project Specialist.

If you are awarded a Mini Grant, you will be asked to submit a short (one page) summary of funding impact, including (but not limited to) # of youth and families involved in your project.

The following efforts have been supported by Community Partnership funds in the past:
  • City High “at risk students” trip to St. Louis.
  • North Liberty Unity Coalition community gatherings and “midnight basketball”.
  • Johnson County Coalition Against Domestic Violence “media blitz” campaign.
  • “The Nest” rewards program for young parent education.
  • Hometies Daycare child health and safety supplies and equipment.
  • Elizabeth Tate gardening project.
  • Regency Community Center home safety/maintenance and first aid training.
  • Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County community building events.
