Goal 3: Youth have the Benefit of Safe & Supportive Communities

Objective
    Offer positive opportunities for youth and families in order to strengthen their attachment to their neighborhoods and their community.
    pointerActivity:
Fund NCJC to provide family support outreach, Celebrating Families parent groups and monthly family events at Broadway and Pheasant Ridge Neighborhood Centers.

pointerMeasure:
    # of contacts by family support outreach staff with parents and school-aged youth focused on literacy and school connections, # of parents that participate in school events each quarter
    2 – 6 week sessions of Celebrating Families parent groups/ # of parents participating/pre- and post tests
    2 monthly family events with # of families involved with activities to strengthen attachment to neighborhood and community (i.e. welcome packets, etc.)
